Tuition fees
The Program foresees tuition fees set at the amount of three thousand and five hundred Euros (€3,500) for each full course of study and which postgraduate students are required to pay in two equal installments. The first upon registration and the second before the start of the 2nd semester, in a bank account of the Special Funds and Research Account (ELKE) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The delinquent payment of financial obligations constitutes a sufficient reason for not awarding the Diploma or for deletion from the Program.
Scholarships and exemption from the obligation to pay tuition fees
The right to be granted free tuition due to financial or social criteria is for postgraduate students who meet the criterion of excellence during the first cycle of studies, which corresponds at least to having a grade equal to or higher than seven and a half with excellent out of ten (7.5/10) on the basic qualification presented for admission to the Program and on the other hand the financial criteria defined by Greek legislation, i.e. due to low financial resources based on the national median available equivalent income. The more specific terms and conditions of the right to study for free in the Program are described in the applicable legislation as well as in the respective decision of the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs. In any case, exempt students should not exceed thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the Program. If the beneficiaries exceed the above percentage, they are selected in order of ranking starting from those with the lowest income.
The application for exemption from tuition fees is submitted by the interested party to the Program Secretariat after the completion of the selection process of the students in the Program. The possibility of exemption from the obligation to pay tuition fees is provided exclusively for studying in one (1) Master’s Degree Program organized by a local University. Successful applicants who receive a scholarship from another source are not entitled to an exemption.
